About this role
Role overview This is a Brazil-based opening for a Software Architect who combines hands-on full-stack engineering with platform and DevOps responsibilities. The role focuses on designing and evolving scalable web applications while also owning the tooling, pipelines, and infrastructure practices that keep delivery moving. A defining expectation is active use of AI-assisted development tools across the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable backend services primarily in .NET Core, with willingness to extend into ASP.NET and adjacent stacks. - Contribute to frontend work in JavaScript and React, helping evolve and maintain user interfaces alongside backend delivery. - Address application security vulnerabilities and promote secure coding and testing practices across both backend and frontend codebases. - Operate and improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Jenkins, including shell-scripted job setup, migration, and execution. - Manage Cloudflare configuration (rule management, traffic analysis, cache clearing) and Acquia Cloud / Acquia Site Factory operations (logs, deployments, backups, cron, cache management). - Apply AI tools and agentic techniques to improve code quality, refactoring, onboarding, and overall development efficiency, while mentoring peers and contributing to architectural discussions.
Requirements - Strong backend experience in .NET Core, grounded in solid software design principles and design patterns. - Proficiency in JavaScript and React for frontend collaboration, plus comfort with relational and non-relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. - Practical experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS preferred) and with RESTful API design. - Hands-on experience with Git-based version control, CI/CD practices, Azure DevOps pipelines, Jenkins, Cloudflare, and Acquia-based hosting workflows. - Working proficiency with AI-assisted coding environments such as Claude Code (terminal, IDE, and GitHub integrations) and practical experience applying AI agents across the SDLC. - Proactive ownership mindset, critical thinking, strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and a team-oriented, learning-driven attitude.
Nice to have - Familiarity with Agentic SDLC patterns and a demonstrable passion for applying AI to software engineering practice.
Benefits and work setup - Health and dental insurance coverage. - Meal and food allowance plus childcare assistance. - Extended paternity leave and life insurance. - Profit Sharing / Results Participation program. - Gym and wellness partnerships (Wellhub / TotalPass) and a free well-being platform focused on physical and mental health. - Continuous learning access through an internal university, language learning platform, and discounted partner learning platforms. - Discount club benefits and dedicated inclusion, health, and well-being support throughout the hiring process and employment.
