Role overview

Responsibilities

- Design, build, and execute test plans and test cases covering web, mobile, and desktop applications - Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and back-end API testing to validate server-side behavior - Develop, maintain, and run automated test scripts using frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Playwright, or Pytest - Log, track, and manage defects in a structured bug-tracking system, partnering with developers to reproduce and resolve issues - Champion testing best practices and continuously refine automation strategies across the software development lifecycle - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is built in from requirements through release

Requirements

- Hands-on proficiency with testing tools such as Selenium, JMeter, Postman, Cypress, or comparable equivalents - Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile delivery methodologies - Experience with test case management platforms like TestRail, Jira, or similar tools - Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with clear communication and teamwork abilities - Fluent English, written and spoken

Nice to have

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or Git - Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms - Background in API and security testing - ISTQB or other recognized quality engineering certifications
