[Job-00020] Tech Lead AI Engineer, Brazil

Role overview Lead the technical direction of AI-driven products that combine generative AI capabilities with production-grade application engineering. This is a hands-on tech lead position focused on building scalable, reliable solutions across the AI and application stack for enterprise clients, while serving as the technical reference point for the engineering team.

Responsibilities

- Drive technical decisions across the AI and application stack and act as the technical reference for the team. - Contribute directly to development work on AI-powered features and services. - Translate business requirements into sound software architecture and implementation plans. - Build scalable, reliable, production-ready solutions that integrate generative AI capabilities. - Mentor and develop engineering team members while maintaining active technical involvement.

Requirements

- Strong background in software engineering with prior experience leading engineering teams or acting as a technical reference. - Hands-on proficiency with Python and Django/Django REST Framework. - Practical experience with Azure OpenAI and Generative AI solutions, including LangChain for LLM integration. - Experience with Celery and Redis for asynchronous processing and distributed task handling. - Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, React or Next.js, Azure DevOps (CI/CD), and Infrastructure as Code (Bicep) in Azure. - Advanced English communication skills and strong collaboration abilities.

Nice to have

- Experience designing architectures for LLM-powered applications. - Familiarity with Generative AI application patterns and best practices. - Background integrating multiple Azure services and using microservices or distributed systems. - Knowledge of observability, security, and production best practices for AI applications. - Prior mentoring of software engineering professionals.
