Role overview
This is an individual-contributor Lead Product Manager role focused on the European commercial fleet market for electric vehicles. The position owns product strategy, roadmap, and business outcomes for solutions serving fleet operators with trucks, buses, and vans, spanning hardware, software, and services. Working within a matrixed organization, the role partners closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to shape charging hardware, fleet-management software, and energy management offerings tailored to European fleet customers.
Responsibilities
- Own product strategy, roadmap, and business outcomes for the European fleet vertical covering trucks, buses, and vans, including pricing, packaging, and launch decisions - Drive a unified hardware and software portfolio, including truck charging solutions and fleet management platforms, as a coherent product experience - Partner with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and operations to align on market opportunities and execute successful product introductions - Identify and shape strategic partnerships with truck and bus OEMs and contribute to build, buy, or partner decisions - Track market trends, competitive offerings, and customer feedback to ensure product direction meets fleet market needs and satisfaction goals - Translate complex technical and commercial concepts into clear narratives and drive alignment across stakeholders from engineering teams to executive leadership
Requirements
- 12 years of experience in fleet electrification, EV charging infrastructure, or adjacent mobility sectors - Demonstrated track record in product management, business development, corporate strategy, or service/operational leadership roles - Experience working with fleet operators, commercial vehicle customers, or energy management solutions, with truck charging experience viewed as a plus - Intellectually curious, analytical, and strategic thinker comfortable operating as an individual contributor in a matrixed organization - Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical and commercial ideas into structured narratives for diverse audiences - Based in Europe with familiarity with the European EV regulatory environment and fleet market dynamics
Nice to have
- Hands-on background partnering with truck and bus original equipment manufacturers on commercial vehicle electrification initiatives - Working knowledge of European fleet electrification incentives, depot charging models, and integration with energy management systems
