Senior Security Engineer (Infrastructure)

Role overview A senior security engineering position focused on engineering and hardening a multi-cloud environment that directly powers a cloud-native product platform. The role blends infrastructure engineering with security leadership, embedding alongside product engineering teams to ensure the underlying cloud architecture enables rapid, safe delivery while protecting an AI-adjacent software supply chain. It suits someone comfortable with shifting priorities in a late-stage, fast-moving startup environment.

Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain secure, resilient, high-performing multi-cloud infrastructure - Partner with product engineering teams to embed security into architecture, tooling, and daily developer workflows - Collaborate with IAM counterparts to define and enforce identity and access strategies across cloud environments - Harden cloud platforms against emerging threats while preserving availability and performance - Lead cloud-focused disaster recovery exercises and contribute to incident response investigations - Build automation, pipelines, and guardrails using Terraform, infrastructure-as-code, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices - Secure infrastructure underpinning AI-driven pipelines and agentic workflows as they expand consumption of the software supply chain - Translate security requirements into practical, adoptable infrastructure for product engineering teams - Adapt plans and architecture as tooling, scope, and team structure evolve during scale-up

Requirements - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor to engineering partners - Hands-on engineering experience with GCP or AWS in production environments - Solid DevOps background, including comfort using Terraform or infrastructure-as-code, Kubernetes (GKE), and CI/CD pipelines - Track record of designing systems that are secure, resilient, and built to accelerate engineering velocity - Comfort with ambiguity and rapid change, ideally with prior experience at a fast-moving or late-stage startup

Nice to have - Experience working with Azure in addition to GCP or AWS
