Role overview
Support data product managers by translating product needs into reliable, validated, production-ready data capabilities. This hybrid role combines product analysis, SQL-based data quality work, dashboard support, release testing, and process improvement within a healthcare data environment.
Responsibilities
- Refine requirements, define acceptance criteria, support backlog preparation, and help determine release readiness. - Validate source-to-target data logic and reconcile metrics using SQL, including transformations into analytical data structures. - Design test cases, interpret AI-assisted quality checks, and investigate discrepancies or unexpected results. - Diagnose production data issues by separating pipeline, business-intelligence, and presentation problems, escalating to Engineering when needed. - Respond to internal and external questions about data and dashboards, resolving requests or routing them appropriately. - Support regression testing and turn recurring manual checks into documented, reusable validation rules or automated workflows.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, data validation, quality assurance, or technical product analysis. - Strong ability to write and interpret SQL for validating data logic across multiple sources. - Hands-on experience with reporting and visualization platforms such as Sisense, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices, including requirements refinement, backlog support, and release coordination. - Strong documentation, analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder-communication skills. - Comfort working through ambiguous data problems and knowing when to involve product or engineering partners.
Nice to have
- Python experience. - Exposure to healthcare data, electronic medical records, or domains such as billing, scheduling, authorizations, clinical sessions, or treatment goals. - Interest in process improvement and automating repeatable data-quality work.
