About this role
Role overview
This mid-level UI Engineer role focuses on building large-scale frontend experiences for an enterprise security intelligence platform that helps analysts, security professionals, and large organizations understand and act on internet-wide data. The position involves shaping new product surfaces, account and integration management, and user-facing controls within a modern React and TypeScript codebase, partnering closely with Design and Product to set direction and ship high-quality work used daily by enterprise customers.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to frontend initiatives spanning enterprise account management, third-party integrations, and the broader platform experience - Surface new data types and product capabilities through well-architected, accessible user interfaces - Partner with Design as a peer, translating intent faithfully while maintaining quality and performance standards - Collaborate with Product to clarify requirements, negotiate scope, and keep multi-stakeholder initiatives moving forward - Model strong frontend engineering practices through thoughtful testing, accessibility, and component architecture decisions
Requirements
- 3+ years of software engineering experience with deep React and TypeScript expertise - Demonstrated ability to contribute at a feature or epic-level scope on frontend projects - Strong testing discipline across unit, integration, and end-to-end coverage - System-level thinking for frontend: component architecture, state management, data-fetching patterns, and performance tradeoffs - Collaborative approach to working with Design and Product partners on future projects
Nice to have
- Experience building or contributing to a shared component library or design system - Familiarity with backend APIs, including reading service contracts and discussing feasibility with backend engineers - Experience with React Router or other server-rendered React frameworks - Solid accessibility fundamentals: WCAG standards, semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, and screen reader compatibility - Domain experience or genuine interest in security intelligence and threat data
