Role overview
This is a senior, hands-on frontend engineering position focused on designing, building, and optimizing user-facing experiences across web and mobile. The role centers on shipping polished, high-performance interfaces at scale and partnering closely with backend, product, and design teams to deliver new capabilities through rapid iteration.
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain scalable frontend features powering core user experiences, product workflows, and automation - Build reusable UI components and contribute to a shared design system - Implement responsive layouts and accessibility best practices across devices - Optimize rendering performance, page speed, code splitting, and asset delivery - Monitor frontend performance, error tracking, and user session metrics, and drive improvements to experience and conversion - Build web-first experiences with React Native mobile support, integrating REST APIs and real-time features - Work in two-week sprints with CI/CD, code review, and high standards for testing and documentation
Requirements
- Six or more years of frontend engineering experience, ideally in consumer apps, SaaS, or browser-based utilities - Expert-level proficiency in React Native and TypeScript - Production experience with React Native or ReactJS (mobile required, web preferred) - Strong JavaScript fundamentals and modern component architecture patterns - Experience integrating UIs with REST, real-time, or event-based APIs - Familiarity with mobile UI patterns on Android and iOS, plus visual debugging and analytics tools such as Sentry, LogRocket, PostHog, Amplitude, or Mixpanel

- Designing responsive interfaces for complex, data-rich workflows and list views - Building mobile apps with the Expo platform - Node-based frontend build environments such as Next.js, Vite, or Webpack - Building Chrome or browser extensions - Firebase for auth, messaging, or real-time features - Feature flags, experimentation, or A/B testing - AI-assisted development tools - Design systems work and Storybook
