UI/ UX Designer

Role overview

This contract role focuses on creating user-centered, conversion-oriented experiences for ecommerce websites, landing pages, and digital campaigns. The designer will translate product and business goals into polished interfaces and visual assets, working independently while collaborating closely with a distributed development team.

Responsibilities

- Design responsive web pages, landing pages, and supporting digital assets that encourage meaningful user action. - Turn product, customer, and business requirements into clear, intuitive user experiences. - Apply established UI/UX and ecommerce design practices across different screen sizes and user journeys. - Develop designs and supporting materials using Figma, Adobe tools, or comparable software. - Coordinate with developers to clarify design intent and support accurate, efficient implementation. - Balance visual quality, usability, speed, and precision when working to short delivery timelines.

Requirements

- At least three years of professional UI/UX design experience covering web or app products. - Demonstrated experience designing for ecommerce and conversion-focused digital experiences. - Advanced capability with Figma and relevant Adobe applications, including XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator. - Strong knowledge of responsive design, usability principles, and conversion rate optimization. - Ability to work autonomously, make sound design decisions, and move projects forward without continuous direction. - A portfolio showing contemporary, practical, and results-oriented interface design.

Nice to have

- Experience collaborating with development teams based in Ukraine or with similarly distributed engineering groups. - Familiarity with Shopify or other ecommerce content management platforms. - A track record of delivering accurate work under demanding deadlines.
