RCM Reporting & Analytics Specialist

Role overview Turn healthcare revenue cycle data into clear, actionable insight for internal teams and provider clients at a medical services company focused on outsourced billing, coding, and claims processing. The role blends recurring reporting, ad hoc analysis, and cross-functional partnership to improve billing, collections, and claims performance.

Responsibilities - Build and maintain recurring reports and dashboards tracking core revenue cycle metrics. - Analyze accounts receivable, claims, denials, payments, collections, and reimbursement data. - Monitor KPIs such as AR aging, denial rates, clean claim rates, collection performance, and payment trends. - Spot significant changes, trends, and anomalies in client and operational performance. - Prepare regular performance reports for internal teams and provider clients. - Translate complex data into clear findings and actionable recommendations, partnering with billing, coding, AR, and client success teams. - Validate data accuracy and resolve reporting discrepancies before sharing with stakeholders. - Support ad hoc analysis requests tied to client performance and operational improvement.

Requirements - 2+ years in healthcare analytics, revenue cycle reporting, business intelligence, or a related analytical role. - Working knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle processes and key performance metrics. - Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and structured data analysis. - Experience building dashboards or reports in a BI or reporting platform. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. - Ability to communicate findings clearly to both operational and non-technical audiences. - Comfort managing multiple reporting priorities and meeting deadlines in a remote setting. - HIPAA-compliant private workspace.

Nice to have - Power BI, Tableau, or comparable BI platform experience. - SQL experience. - Familiarity with Epic, Athena, eClinicalWorks, or similar healthcare systems. - Revenue cycle management or healthcare operations background. - Experience preparing client-facing performance reports.
