Software Development Engineer in Test

Role overview Own quality strategy and release readiness for consumer mobile products and supporting content and administration tools. You’ll build automated checks, work closely with engineering, product, and design, and help teams catch problems early so releases are reliable.

Responsibilities - Set testing priorities and quality standards across app features and internal tools. - Build and maintain UI, API, mobile, and integration test automation that runs in CI/CD pipelines. - Review requirements, specifications, and code changes early to identify risks during development. - Coordinate release planning and certification, then monitor product health after launch. - Work with product and design on acceptance criteria and release timelines; guide a distributed QA team toward more automation. - Triage defects, report quality measures such as coverage and release stability, and use AI-assisted tools to improve testing workflows.

Requirements - At least three years of experience in software engineering, SDET, or QA automation. - Strong programming skills in Java and JavaScript or TypeScript. - Experience creating test automation frameworks and integrating them into CI/CD. - Hands-on experience testing iOS and/or Android applications. - Experience leading QA work and owning release readiness, ideally with distributed teams. - Comfort using AI-assisted tools in testing and development.

Nice to have - Experience with a large consumer subscription or mobile app. - Development experience in a mobile, backend, or web codebase.
