Product Owner

Role overview Translate product direction into clear, achievable work for cross-functional delivery teams. You will shape and maintain the backlog, connect stakeholder needs with development execution, and help ensure releases deliver useful outcomes. The listing describes a full-time, three-month remote contract.

Responsibilities - Turn product vision and stakeholder needs into business and functional requirements, features, and well-defined user stories. - Maintain a prioritized backlog with enough ready work for multiple sprints, applying agreed definitions of ready and done. - Review completed stories against acceptance criteria and recommend next steps when backlog health or readiness is at risk. - Coordinate with product, solution and business architecture, development teams, vendors, and other stakeholders on scope, roadmaps, and delivery. - Communicate release contents, expected behavior, progress, and status to stakeholders and leadership. - Review and update test scripts for planned and regression testing, and support improvement work that strengthens program quality.

Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, a healthcare discipline, information management, or a closely related field. - At least three years of experience in product ownership, strategic consulting, design thinking, product or project management, or program management. - At least three years of experience working with external clients and building productive relationships.

Nice to have - Agile certification from a recognized organization. - Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret research and apply it to practical solutions.
