Systems Engineer - Data & Automation

Role overview Develop data and automation solutions that reduce manual work and improve the operation of enterprise financial systems. Responsibilities - Identify manual processes that can be automated and implement solutions to improve system efficiency. - Write and tune SQL or PL/SQL queries, scripts, and database processes. - Support Momentum Financials database operations, functionality, and integrations. - Build and maintain scheduled workflows using enterprise scheduling or pipeline tools. - Investigate database, script, scheduling, and data processing issues and help resolve root causes. - Work with technical and functional colleagues to identify automation needs and deliver improvements.

Requirements - Strong SQL or PL/SQL skills and hands-on experience with Momentum Financials data structures and functionality. - Experience with Jenkins, Control-M, Tivoli Workload Scheduler, or a comparable scheduling or pipeline tool. - GitHub experience for source code management. - Command-line scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or a similar language. - Experience installing, configuring, and administering SQLPlus, SQLLoader, and Oracle Instant Client. - Basic understanding of ETL concepts and strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have - Experience with federal financial management systems, automated data processing and validation, or system integrations. - Familiarity with Oracle performance tuning and enterprise automation practices.
