Role overview Review recorded traffic events to determine whether drivers illegally pass stopped school buses. Your careful, consistent decisions help support student safety and compliance with local school-bus laws. This is a remote, part-time contract role involving repetitive, quota-based video review.
Responsibilities - Examine a high volume of video events and determine whether a vehicle passed a stopped school bus in violation of applicable rules. - Complete reviews accurately and promptly while meeting the stated processing target of 250 events per hour. - Apply differences in school-bus laws across jurisdictions when assessing events. - Track work time through an online timecard and attend scheduled training and meetings. - Join biweekly video check-ins with a team lead, monitor team updates about work volume, and contribute to team goals and projects. - Communicate respectfully and constructively with colleagues and leadership.
Requirements - High school diploma or GED. - Residence in the Eastern Time Zone and availability for at least 20 hours per week. - Strong attention to detail, analytical judgment, and communication skills, with the ability to sustain repetitive review work at a high pace. - Intermediate or higher proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word. - A compatible Windows 10 or 11 computer with a 2.0 GHz or faster processor, or a supported Mac running Catalina 10.15 or later; tablets and Chromebooks are not supported. - Reliable internet of at least 10 Mbps, with responsibility for maintaining the computer, connection, and browser used for the work.
Benefits and work setup Work is remote, part-time, and classified as a 1099 contract. A minimum of 20 hours per week is required, but assignments and total hours are not guaranteed; events are available on a first-come basis. Compensation is listed as $10 per hour for actual review time, meetings, and training.
