Role overview A project manager focused on client acquisition onboarding for a SaaS benefits platform, balancing disciplined work management, risk reduction, and client experience. The role blends agile delivery, change management, and process leadership to onboard clients and new populations efficiently.
Responsibilities - Onboard clients and new populations using agile, change management, and process leadership best practices. - Create, maintain, and adjust work schedules to keep projects on course, using strong influencing skills to drive schedule adherence and task ownership. - Communicate project status, risks, and decisions effectively to leaders, cross-functional teams, clients, and brokers via email, meetings, status updates, and work schedules. - Identify, forecast, and mitigate risks through action plans, contingency plans, and escalation pathways. - Lead work management and resource planning, producing reporting on capacity, bottlenecks, and efficiency opportunities. - Generate and maintain documentation including SOPs, project plans, risk and action logs, handoff notes, and acquisition-related tracking artifacts. - Use approved AI tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, to draft communications, summarize meetings, and organize action items, validating outputs before relying on them. - Contribute to repeatable acquisition playbooks, templates, and process improvements that support scalability.
Requirements - At least 2 years of project management experience, with acquisition, implementation, client onboarding, benefits administration, or cross-functional delivery experience preferred. - Bachelor's degree strongly preferred. - Strong quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills, using data and capacity indicators to identify risks, bottlenecks, and efficiency opportunities. - Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to drive accountability across teams and clients. - Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time, within scope, and against measurable objectives. - Familiarity with disciplined work management practices and an interest in growing toward more senior project management responsibilities.
Benefits and work setup - Fully remote position. - Listed pay range of $43,000–$80,000 USD per year, with eligibility for an annual bonus incentive plan. - Comprehensive benefits package available for full-time and part-time benefit-eligible roles.
