Responsibilities - Review and validate raw materials before configuration work begins. - Build and update system configurations in line with requirements documentation. - Follow established workflows for annual enrollment, new service implementations, and acquisition or divestiture system changes. - Check your own work for quality and flag gaps or inconsistencies in process documentation. - Coordinate with internal partners, keep task and productivity records current, and review priorities regularly. - Escalate issues when appropriate and help resolve broader system-build problems.
Requirements - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. - At least two years of benefits-administration plan configuration experience; benefits administration industry experience is required. - Strong attention to detail and ability to compare large datasets, organize information, and summarize findings. - Analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and project work. - Familiarity with business processes, system development, process improvement, requirements gathering, process flows, and use cases. - Experience with business technologies and platforms.
Nice to have - SQL, Microsoft Access, and strong Excel skills. - A record of finding practical improvements to established workflows.
Benefits and work setup The listing gives a salary range of $47,000–$74,000 and eligibility for an annual bonus incentive. Benefit-eligible employees receive a comprehensive benefits package; compensation depends on qualifications and geographic market.
