Business Intelligence Analyst Internship (Innovation & Data Science)

Role overview Support a product innovation team as a business intelligence intern, applying data and analytical skills to practical projects. The work includes improving SQL queries, exploring data through visualization tools, and contributing to the design, implementation, testing, and documentation of enhancements.

Responsibilities - Modify and optimize SQL queries to support analysis and reporting. - Use business intelligence and visualization tools to explore data and surface insights. - Contribute ideas and analysis for product or reporting enhancements. - Participate in technical discussions, coding, and testing. - Test changes and document implementation details clearly. - Prioritize multiple tasks and provide responsive, thorough support to colleagues and customers.

Requirements - Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage competing tasks. - Strong communication skills, including taking direction, providing customer service, and documenting work. - Advanced Excel skills and intermediate-to-advanced data visualization ability. - Familiarity with Python and SQL. - Availability for at least 30 hours per week.

Nice to have - Enrollment in a master’s program or higher. - Familiarity with AWS; this is preferred but not required.
