About this role

Role overview

Full-stack engineer joining a platform team with a strong frontend focus. The role combines building user-facing product features with contributing to backend services, frontend architecture, developer tooling, testing, and an internal design system. You will have substantial ownership over technical and product decisions, with direct impact on software used to manage complex financial operations.

Responsibilities

- Build scalable, reliable, and well-tested full-stack features, prioritizing high-quality, accessible, and usable interfaces. - Develop and evolve frontend architecture, backend services, shared tooling, and the internal design system. - Work closely with product managers, designers, quality engineers, and platform engineers to discover problems and ship effective solutions. - Improve developer experience, application performance, reliability, maintainability, and automated test coverage. - Contribute unit and end-to-end tests using tools such as Vitest and Playwright or comparable technologies. - For senior applicants, guide architectural and performance decisions, align design and implementation, maintain the design system, and mentor other engineers.

Requirements

- At least five years of experience for the senior level building product applications across the stack, with clear frontend depth. - Strong TypeScript skills, experience with modern frontend frameworks, and the ability to contribute to Node.js backend services. - Experience working with design systems; senior applicants should also have built or maintained custom systems. - Familiarity with unit and end-to-end testing, UI/UX principles, accessibility, and practical product development. - Ability to turn loosely defined ideas into working software and operate effectively in an evolving startup or scaleup environment. - Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, and product judgment.

Nice to have

- Exposure to fintech or other regulated domains. - Experience with Zod or comparable form-validation tools. - Experience building data visualizations such as tables and charts.
