Product Designer

Role overview A remote, full-time founding design role at an AI venture studio where the designer is the first on the team. The role partners directly with the founder and engineers and owns how every shipped surface looks and feels, from product UI to iOS apps to marketing sites.

Responsibilities - Run design end to end, from idea through shipped interface in days rather than weeks - Prototype using AI image generation to produce mockups in hours - Co-own the design system together with engineering - Actively cut features and elements that do not need to exist - Embed with engineers and ship alongside the codebase rather than ahead of it

Requirements - Taste strong enough that shipped work becomes a reference, with proof in shipped products - Ability to defend every spacing, type, and color decision under pushback while staying open to changing course - Speed in Figma and even greater speed with AI-assisted design tools - Comfort working inside engineers' tools and shipping together with the build

Nice to have - Ability to prototype in code using React and Tailwind - Experience designing AI products that people use daily
