About this role
Role overview A senior, globally distributed, customer-facing architecture position focused on winning and expanding strategic enterprise accounts for an AI-driven personalization platform. The role bridges deep technical architecture and commercial strategy, acting as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, Enterprise Architects, and digital leaders while partnering closely with sales, solution consulting, product, engineering, and customer success counterparts.
Responsibilities - Serve as a senior technical advisor across global strategic opportunities, building trusted relationships with technology leadership and mapping complex enterprise environments. - Whiteboard and communicate architectures, data flows, and integration strategies to both technical and executive audiences, including trade-offs across data platforms, APIs, cloud, identity, governance, latency, and scalability. - Bring expertise across modern data architecture (lakehouses, CDPs, cloud data platforms), identity resolution, event streams, customer profiles, and real-time activation, and advise on where warehouse-centric approaches fall short for real-time decisioning. - Partner with account executives and solution consultants throughout complex enterprise sales cycles, supporting RFPs, technical validation, executive presentations, architecture reviews, and workshops. - Connect architectural decisions to measurable business outcomes (revenue, cost, risk, time-to-value) and help remove technical barriers that could stall deals. - Feed customer insights and market trends back into product and engineering, mentor customer-facing colleagues, and develop relationships with strategic technology partners and systems integrators.
Requirements - Significant experience in a senior customer-facing technical role within enterprise software, SaaS, commerce, MarTech, data, or digital experience. - Strong grasp of modern data architecture and cloud platforms, including lakehouse-style data platforms, CDPs, APIs, event-driven architectures, identity resolution, and real-time activation. - Familiarity with enterprise MarTech and commerce ecosystems spanning CRM, ESPs, personalization, marketing automation, and commerce platforms. - Experience with major enterprise cloud platforms, microservices, composable commerce, and cloud-native patterns. - Track record supporting complex enterprise sales cycles, RFPs, technical evaluations, and multi-stakeholder buying processes, with strong executive communication and workshop facilitation skills. - Commercially minded, able to translate architectural decisions into business value for senior stakeholders.
Nice to have - Experience engaging CIO, CTO, Enterprise Architect, and Chief Digital Officer audiences at large global enterprises. - Background contributing to thought leadership, industry events, and customer technology briefings.
Benefits and work setup - Remote-first working model with multiple in-person hubs across three continents and periodic global company gatherings. - Equity grants (RSUs or stock options) tied to role, seniority, and location, plus a company performance bonus. - Annual professional development budget, internal people development workshops, leadership programs, and access to communication coaching. - Well-being support including an Employee Assistance Program, meditation and sleep app subscription, additional quarterly time-off days, and up to 26 weeks of paid parental leave for primary caregivers.
