Data Engineer

Role overview Build and operate data pipelines and analytics infrastructure for blockchain and Web3 products. You’ll work across product, engineering, and business teams to make on-chain and off-chain data reliable, usable, and ready for analysis at scale.

Responsibilities - Design and maintain ETL/ELT workflows that collect data from blockchain networks, smart contracts, APIs, and external services. - Index and process blocks, transactions, contract events, token activity, and related datasets. - Develop data models for reporting, analytics, and business intelligence. - Improve pipeline performance and reliability for large, high-volume workloads. - Monitor and troubleshoot data systems, investigate quality issues, and document architecture and data models. - Coordinate with blockchain, backend, product, and analytics colleagues on data needs.

Requirements - At least three years of data engineering experience, including hands-on work with blockchain or Web3 data. - Strong SQL and database design skills, plus experience building ETL/ELT pipelines. - Proficiency in Python or a similar language for data processing. - Knowledge of blockchain structure, transactions, blocks, and smart contract events. - Experience extracting data from Ethereum or EVM-compatible networks, including RPC APIs, event logs, and on-chain indexing. - Familiarity with data modeling, warehousing, distributed systems, and large datasets; strong analytical problem-solving skills.
