QA Engineer

Role overview Join a remote-first engineering team building foundational infrastructure on top of the Bitcoin protocol. The QA Engineer will safeguard the stability and security of blockchain-based applications, wallets, and payment systems by combining hands-on testing with thoughtful automation.

Responsibilities - Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts covering blockchain applications and APIs. - Build and maintain automated testing frameworks for functional, performance, and security scenarios. - Manually and programmatically test transactions, wallets, payment flows, and decentralized applications. - Identify, document, and track defects through bug-tracking tools, partnering with developers to drive resolution. - Perform security testing to surface vulnerabilities, and partner with DevOps to embed automated tests within CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments. - Maintain a regression suite and research emerging QA practices specific to blockchain and financial technology.

Requirements - At least two years of professional software quality assurance experience, ideally in fintech, blockchain, or security-focused products. - Solid grasp of Bitcoin and broader blockchain concepts, including how transactions and wallets behave. - Proficiency with automation testing frameworks and API testing tools, plus scripting language skills. - Familiarity with security testing methods such as penetration testing and vulnerability assessments, and hands-on use of performance testing tools. - Strong analytical thinking, clear documentation habits, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote, collaborative setting.
