Senior React Native Engineer

Role overview A senior mobile engineer role focused on the user onboarding and identity verification experience inside a regulated fintech product. The work centers on iOS and React Native flows that connect new users to KYC providers and shepherd them through account setup across multiple international markets, where reliability, security, and compliance are non-negotiable.

Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain the signup, KYC, and account-upgrade screens, navigation, and SDK integrations across iOS and React Native. - Define architecture patterns and engineering standards for the mobile surfaces owned by the onboarding squad. - Own the mobile integration with third-party identity verification providers, including version upgrades, migrations, and incident response. - Write clean, well-tested React Native and native iOS code, and champion best practices through code review. - Monitor, debug, and resolve production issues, focusing on root-cause analysis and durable fixes. - Partner with Product, Compliance, and backend engineering to translate regulatory requirements and user needs into sound mobile solutions. - Mentor teammates, contribute to technical discussions, and raise the mobile craft bar across the squad.

Requirements - Strong React Native experience with a track record of shipping production mobile apps at scale, plus depth in native iOS. - Hands-on experience integrating third-party SDKs, ideally including identity verification or biometric providers in regulated environments. - Experience designing mobile architectures that stay testable and maintainable through fast iteration cycles. - Comfort working across the mobile/backend boundary, including REST APIs, asynchronous flows, and shared state. - Clear written and spoken English communication with engineering peers, product managers, and senior leadership. - High autonomy and ownership: ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and drive them to production in a fast-paced fintech setting.

Nice to have - Familiarity with KYC and AML flows, identity verification platforms such as Incode, Jumio, IDWall, or similar providers, or onboarding funnels in regulated financial products.
