About this role
Role overview A Business Intelligence / Data Analyst is needed to work across the full data lifecycle, from engineering pipelines through to advanced visualisations, machine learning models, and experiments, within a leading global blockchain and digital asset ecosystem. The role involves analysing petabyte-scale volumes of transactional, operational, and customer data and turning findings into clear, actionable recommendations for operational teams and executives. It is suited to a curious, self-driven analyst who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with a flat structure.
Responsibilities - Work across the entire data stack, from data engineering to sophisticated visualisations, machine learning models, and experiments. - Analyse and interpret petabyte-scale transactional, operational, and customer datasets using proprietary and open-source tools. - Translate complex findings into clear visualisations and recommendations for operational teams and executives. - Operate in a fast-paced industry and organisation where speed to market is a key differentiator.
Requirements - Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or Life Sciences. - Three to five years of full-time experience in an analytics or data science role. - A self-driven team player who can quickly learn and apply new analytical tools, data models, and programming languages. - Natural curiosity to identify, investigate, and explain trends and patterns, with the ability to simplify complex technical findings. - Prior internal or client-facing consulting or business transformation experience is preferred. - Genuine interest in emerging technologies such as blockchain, machine learning, and AI. - Competency in at least two of: an analytical tool (e.g. R, SAS), a visualisation tool (e.g. QlikView, Tableau, Power BI), a relational or graph database (e.g. SQL, NoSQL, Neo4J), and a programming language (e.g. VBA, C++, Java, Python).
