Role overview This is a senior consulting role on an analytics consulting team that delivers advanced analytics solutions to healthcare organizations using real-world patient data. The position focuses on translating ambiguous business questions into tractable data projects and managing end-to-end delivery to drive client insights and measurable impact.
Responsibilities - Manage the full lifecycle of analytics engagements, from scoping and planning through execution and delivery, ensuring on-time and on-budget outcomes. - Translate ambiguous business questions into well-defined data analysis projects and interpret the statistical results that emerge. - Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building collaborative stakeholder relationships and addressing concerns throughout the project lifecycle. - Partner with Data Science, Engineering, and Product Management teams to align on goals, deliverables, and analytics approaches. - Monitor project progress, proactively surface risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep initiatives on track. - Stay current on industry trends and best practices, incorporating new techniques and technologies into service offerings, and identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.
Requirements - Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Economics, or equivalent practical experience. - Minimum of three years of experience in healthcare analytics or a closely related field, with a demonstrated track record of delivering analytics solutions to clients. - Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams and managing client relationships. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences. - Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R. - Demonstrated ability to apply AI tools strategically in daily workflows, accelerating feedback loops and exploring AI-enhanced automation.
Nice to have - Domain expertise in areas such as patient journey analytics, line-of-therapy analyses, market landscaping, segmentation, targeting, forecasting, or commercial assessments. - Thought leadership presence through presentations, publications, or industry events.
Benefits and work setup - Annual base pay ranges from $122,000-$155,000 for candidates based in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City, and $106,000-$135,000 for all other U.S. locations, with potential eligibility for performance-based bonuses and equity awards. - Benefits include comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance; flexible time off and holidays; 401(k) with company match; disability and life insurance; and leaves of absence in accordance with applicable laws. - Hybrid work model with hubs in San Francisco, New York City, and Chicago; some roles can be performed from anywhere in the U.S., while others are scoped to a specific region.
