Middle Software Engineer Frontend

Role overview Build and improve web application features as part of a collaborative software team. The role emphasizes clean, scalable code, practical testing, and close feedback loops with product colleagues. The position is fully remote and involves working across a distributed team.

Responsibilities - Develop and maintain web application software with attention to code quality and scalability. - Collaborate through pair programming and problem-solving with colleagues across product and operations. - Work with product teams in an agile process, incorporating feedback as work progresses. - Apply pragmatic testing practices that prioritize meaningful, thorough checks. - Share knowledge with teammates and support the development of early-career engineers. - Consider security as part of building software that customers rely on.

Requirements - At least one year of commercial experience building software or web applications. - Good knowledge of JavaScript and a focus on writing clean, well-designed, scalable code. - Comfort working remotely with teammates distributed across multiple time zones. - Interest in pair programming and regular cross-team collaboration. - Ability to work closely with product partners and respond constructively to real-time feedback. - Willingness to mentor less experienced developers and share knowledge across skill levels.

Nice to have - TypeScript experience or familiarity with React Native.
