Role overview A staff-level cybersecurity architecture role responsible for translating a global cyber and IT strategy into a coherent enterprise security architecture across applications, data, and infrastructure. The position sits within a platform organization that spans IT, GRC, and security operations and plays a key part in an ongoing digital transformation.
Responsibilities - Analyze business needs and translate them into secure, performant, and coherent IT and cloud solutions. - Develop, implement, and evolve the security architecture, producing executable roadmaps and pattern libraries. - Create secure architecture patterns for complex technology environments in collaboration with engineering and security stakeholders. - Bridge IT and the business by advising management on complex security and architecture decisions. - Run technical risk analyses to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks across systems, applications, and initiatives. - Translate high-level security policies from governance, risk, and compliance teams into detailed technical designs, and stay current on emerging technologies relevant to AI and cloud security.
Requirements - In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and modern security approaches such as zero trust and defense in depth. - Expertise in identity and access management, including hands-on experience with an enterprise identity platform such as Okta. - Familiarity with AI security considerations for tools like MCP, Claude, and other large-model systems. - Experience securing macOS endpoints in a corporate environment. - Working knowledge of GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST, and similar compliance frameworks. - Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
