Role overview A senior technical program management role based in Amsterdam with regional travel across DACH, Benelux, Nordics, and other European countries. The position leads high-visibility enterprise software deployments that blend cloud and on-premises platforms, partnering across professional services, product, engineering, sales, and customer teams to deliver mission-critical outcomes for public safety clients.
Responsibilities - Manage all aspects of complex enterprise-grade product deployments, including milestones, resource planning, scope, timeline, and risk management. - Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and on-time delivery, including documentation that supports customer acceptance and revenue recognition. - Support pre-sales scoping and post-sales implementation handoff, acting as a liaison between customers and internal teams on change requests, feasibility, and roadmap alignment. - Operate with urgency, accuracy, and detail-orientation while keeping communication consistent across all involved teams, especially under pressure. - Own the relationship with third-party integrators and clients throughout the contract lifecycle. - Identify process inefficiencies and contribute to internal SOPs, implementation playbooks, and best-practice improvements that lift deployment speed, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements - 5+ years leading and delivering highly complex technical programs, with demonstrated success in technical program management. - Proven track record managing enterprise-level software deployments, infrastructure projects, or large-scale enterprise application rollouts. - Deep experience coordinating cross-functional teams spanning sales, engineering, and product. - Fluency in both German and English, with European citizenship and willingness to undergo a security check to handle sensitive government data. - Mastery of program/project management tools and methodologies such as PMP, PRINCE2, or SCRUM. - Advanced communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for varied audiences. - Ability to guide clients and internal teams through ambiguity, drive alignment, and execute against shared goals.
Nice to have - Familiarity with software configurations and hands-on coding experience, particularly with JSON. - Experience gathering requirements, optimizing workflows, and facilitating change management within teams.
