Senior Producer

Role overview

Produce original editorial video from early concept through release and audience growth. This hands-on role combines creative development, shooting, editing, production management, and distribution across video, social, and digital channels. You will work with editorial and creative colleagues, on-camera contributors, and external production partners to shape accurate, engaging stories.

Responsibilities - Take video projects from idea and scripting through filming, post-production, publishing, and promotion. - Develop pitches, treatments, scripts, shot lists, run-of-show plans, and other materials that prepare productions for execution. - Collaborate with editorial and video leads to develop concepts and deliver work that meets editorial standards. - Lead or support studio, field, and remote shoots, working effectively with journalists, executives, guests, and other talent. - Coordinate schedules and deliverables across internal teams, freelancers, vendors, and production partners. - Package video for digital platforms, use audience and platform performance insights to refine creative choices, and manage multiple deadlines and review cycles.

Requirements - 5–7+ years of relevant experience in video production, journalism, digital media, broadcast, documentary, branded content, or comparable editorial work; greater experience may be considered for the senior level. - A strong portfolio or reel showing professional video production, camera work, and editing. - Editorial judgment and visual storytelling skills, including the ability to develop an idea into a polished finished piece. - Experience producing for YouTube and understanding of audience development, search and discovery, retention, and platform-specific storytelling. - Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and experience working with on-camera talent. - Strong writing, communication, project management, and collaboration skills; able to adapt to changing priorities.
