About this role
Role overview Salesforce Data 360 Architect owning the data foundation of an enterprise AI and personalization program. This contributor role blends architectural and commercial accountability, ensuring that what enters Data 360 is appropriate, harmonized, identity-resolved, activated, and cost-efficient. The position is remote nearshore, delivered from Latin American delivery centers with substantial North American time-zone overlap.
Responsibilities - Design the canonical data model and mapping strategy across CRM, ERP, warehouse, and event sources - Own identity resolution design, including match rules, reconciliation, and unified profile definition - Decide what is ingested into Data 360, what is federated through zero-copy, and what stays out entirely - Design segmentation, calculated insights, and activation paths into Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and advertising platforms - Define grounding architecture for Agentforce, including retrieval sources and data-freshness requirements - Build consent, retention, and data-residency handling into the architecture from the start - Model and monitor Data 360 credit consumption, design to reduce it, and review data-stream and segment changes before production - Explain to executive stakeholders what Data 360 will and will not solve, and guide data engineers and Agentforce architects on design decisions
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience - 8+ years in data architecture, including 2+ years designing on Salesforce Data 360, with demonstrated ownership of consumption-cost reduction on a live implementation - Understanding of Marketing Cloud and Service Cloud activation mechanics, not just the Data 360 side - Hands-on expertise with data streams, DMOs, identity resolution, calculated insights, segmentation, activation, and zero-copy federation - Experience with enterprise data modeling and master data management, plus cloud warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, or Redshift - Working knowledge of data governance, privacy, and consent frameworks including GDPR and CCPA - Salesforce Certified Data 360 Consultant credential required - Professional English with the ability to lead requirement and design conversations directly with North American stakeholders - Must be permanently authorized to work in country of residence; visa sponsorship is not available
