Information Security Engineer

Role overview Help protect organizational systems and data as part of an information security team. The work spans security design, engineering, operations, and governance, with assignments shaped by team needs and your experience across on-premises and cloud environments.

Responsibilities - Help define security requirements and assess systems, applications, networks, and proposed technologies for vulnerabilities. - Support the implementation and administration of security tools, controls, and defense-in-depth protections. - Monitor security tools and logs, assist with incident investigations, and coordinate with IT teams on patching and remediation. - Contribute to vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, risk analysis, audits, and disaster recovery exercises. - Support compliance with relevant standards and regulations, and help maintain security policies, procedures, and workflows.

Requirements - One to four years of experience as an information security analyst or engineer, including at least two years in a technical security role. - Experience in at least two areas such as SIEM, endpoint protection, intrusion detection or prevention, vulnerability scanning, network security, data loss prevention, or malware analysis. - Experience with identity and access management and with securing cloud infrastructure such as Azure or AWS. - A bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience is also considered.
