Senior Product Manager

Role overview A Senior Product Manager is needed on an expansion team dedicated to bringing an AI-driven administrative automation platform into new product areas within healthcare. The role centers on observing clinical and operational staff in real settings, identifying where manual work breaks down, and shaping that learning into product features that scale beyond a single customer. The position reports to the Expand product lead and partners daily with engineers, a designer, product operations, forward-deployed engineers, and implementation staff.

Responsibilities - Own a defined set of clinical and administrative workflows end to end, including the post-launch outcome for the practice using them - Conduct on-site discovery and shadowing sessions inside care settings, then translate observations into a justified build plan - Decide which workflow elements become generalized product and which remain customized for a single account, working with product engineering and forward-deployed teams - Design product experiences that accommodate current human-in-the-loop needs while preparing for higher levels of automation - Write acceptance criteria and lead rollout, taking accountability when parts of the launch do not go as planned

Requirements - Four or more years of product management experience setting the roadmap, including at least two years on software sold into a single vertical such as healthcare, legal, logistics, or construction - Demonstrated record of replacing a manual process with software, from sitting with the people doing the work by hand through to shipping a replacement - Track record of using data and customer feedback to drive product improvements - Comfort pushing back on stakeholder requests in a way that preserves trust and partnership - Ability to recognize when a proposed technical approach will not satisfy the customer and to propose workable alternatives - Strong written communication skills, including briefs, specs, and memos that resolve ambiguity without additional meetings

Nice to have - Background in prior authorization, revenue cycle management, or specialty healthcare operations - Experience at an early-stage startup - A formal background in design or engineering - Hands-on work shipping a product built on large language models
