Role overview This role leads product strategy for a suite of clinical software embedded in a dental practice management platform, covering charting, imaging, treatment planning, and an AI-assisted documentation experience. The position sits at the intersection of clinical workflows, applied AI, and B2B SaaS, partnering closely with engineering, design, regulatory, and go-to-market teams to ship a clinical workspace dentists use every day.
Responsibilities - Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for clinical products spanning tooth and periodontal charting, treatment planning, imaging, and AI-driven clinical notes. - Lead cross-functional alignment between engineering, design, and GTM teams, making decisive tradeoffs in ambiguous situations. - Spend significant time with dentists, hygienists, and assistants to understand clinical workflows and translate pain points into product requirements. - Partner with sales, customer success, and marketing to position and roll out new clinical capabilities to prospective and existing customers. - Define product analytics and success metrics to identify friction and iterate on quality. - Collaborate with regulatory affairs to meet FDA and HIPAA compliance and security standards for clinical software. - Evaluate emerging AI capabilities and integrate them into both internal workflows and the product, from voice to diagnostics. - Maintain clear technical documentation and communicate strategy, requirements, milestones, and tradeoffs to leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements - 6+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years at a fast-growing startup building B2B software for daily professional use. - Healthcare, clinical, or hardware-integrated software experience is a plus. - Track record of shipping AI/ML features to production; voice, computer vision, or medical imaging experience is a strong plus. - Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence across engineering, design, and GTM functions. - Strong analytical proficiency and regular use of AI and analytics tools to drive measurable outcomes. - Ownership mindset with adaptability, exceptional communication, and bias for action in a fast-paced environment.
