Role overview
Lead the rollout and long-term adoption of a common manufacturing system across 13 production sites in Germany. This hands-on operational excellence role combines Lean transformation, shopfloor coaching, structured change management, and cross-site knowledge sharing, with approximately 75% travel between facilities.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and stabilize deployment activities for the manufacturing system across multiple plants. - Train and coach plant leaders, department managers, and shopfloor teams in Lean tools, standard work, daily management, and problem-solving. - Help sites with limited continuous-improvement maturity adopt new operating routines and behaviors. - Address resistance to change through practical engagement, communication, and follow-through. - Capture effective practices, lessons learned, and standards, then share them across the plant network. - Provide clear progress updates to quality, continuous-improvement, and operations stakeholders.
Requirements
- Engineering degree or equivalent operational experience. - Strong practical experience in Lean and continuous improvement, with advanced knowledge of relevant methodologies. - Lean Six Sigma Black Belt experience is strongly preferred. - Experience leading change and deploying improvement tools in low-maturity environments. - Significant experience in a manufacturing production setting and a strong understanding of shopfloor operations. - Fluency in English; professional or fluent German or French is strongly recommended. - Ability to teach, coach, and influence people from plant leadership through frontline teams.
