Role overview
A senior consulting position focused on designing and delivering Sigma-based client reporting solutions for asset and wealth management firms. The role leads end-to-end implementations, from discovery workshops through knowledge transfer, working with blue-chip investment clients across North America and contributing to a boutique consulting practice inside a larger financial services advisory group.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Sigma analytics implementations, including discovery workshops, technical architecture design, data source integration, user acceptance testing, and comprehensive knowledge transfer to client teams. - Create semantic layers and data models within Sigma that enable self-service analytics while preserving data governance, consistency, and query performance. - Define and lead project planning, producing detailed statements of work and task plans for successful delivery. - Design intuitive, interactive dashboards and reports that translate complex business requirements into user-friendly outputs. - Collaborate with cross-functional consulting teams and clients to deliver robust data platforms, pipelines, and integrations aligned to industry best practice.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a Sigma or comparable BI architect or senior implementation lead. - Strong front office technology background with familiarity across front, middle, and back office functions of investment organizations. - Hands-on knowledge of asset and wealth management reporting components such as factsheets, holdings, performance, characteristics, disclosures, and commentaries. - Proven ability to lead cross-functional delivery and translate business needs into scalable, secure, high-performance data and reporting solutions. - Entrepreneurial approach and comfort operating in a meritocratic consulting culture.
