Senior Data Engineer

Role overview Design and build data infrastructure and proof-of-concept solutions that support analytics and data science. You’ll work with business users, data scientists, and analytics engineers to turn emerging needs into tested data pipelines, prototypes, and production-ready solutions that can transition into enterprise technology environments.

Responsibilities - Develop data and analytics workstreams through rapid prototyping, iterative delivery, and production implementation. - Partner with business and data science teams to clarify needs and deliver working pilots and solutions. - Explore, engineer, test, and implement data, including ETL work and enterprise data assets. - Build prototypes that help stakeholders examine proposed features and surface design assumptions. - Support infrastructure for predictive modeling and analytics, including data quality, validation, and monitoring. - Create test plans and scripts, prepare test data, reconcile sources, and run functional tests. - Provide technical guidance to peers and support a culture of mentoring and process improvement.

Requirements - Four or more years of relevant experience is preferred. - Technical fluency in data engineering, programming, and analytics; examples listed include SQL, Python, Oracle, Power BI, and Fabric. - Ability to work closely with business users and data scientists to develop practical solutions. - Experience with data exploration, testing, validation, and implementation. - Strong communication and analytical skills.
