Senior Software Engineer, Enterprise Commerce – Data (SFCC)

Role overview Serve as a senior engineer owning the architecture, scalability, and long-term direction of a Salesforce B2C Commerce integration on the Enterprise Commerce Data team. The role spans design through delivery, partnering across engineering, product, support, and customer-facing teams to ship reliable commerce integrations at scale.

Responsibilities - Design, develop, and evolve the SFCC integration, owning its architecture and technical roadmap while contributing to adjacent integrations - Drive technical work from initial design through delivery and continuous improvement - Author technical RFCs and contribute meaningfully to architecture and design decisions - Improve quality, reliability, and maintainability across the integration codebase - Investigate and resolve complex integration issues in partnership with engineering, product, support, and customer teams - Provide technical input for roadmap planning, including level-of-effort estimates and improvement opportunities

Requirements - Extensive Salesforce B2C Commerce experience with deep knowledge of SFRA, cartridges, hooks, jobs, services, and B2C Commerce APIs, including production SFCC integration work - Strong JavaScript skills plus experience with RequireJS, TypeScript, and Node.js - Background integrating commerce platforms with external APIs and services - Solid software engineering fundamentals, including automated testing, debugging, code quality, and maintainable design - Ability to own complex technical problems, identify root causes, and ship reliable solutions - Clear written and verbal communication, especially through technical documentation and RFCs - Collaborative approach with willingness to learn and share across technologies

Nice to have - Experience with search or indexing systems - React and headless commerce experience - Adobe Commerce and PHP experience - Familiarity with Adobe Commerce Cloud Service and Adobe App Builder - Background with other enterprise or composable commerce platforms - Experience building or maintaining publicly distributed cartridges, plugins, SDKs, integrations, or open-source software

Benefits and work setup - Base salary range of $163,000 to $214,000 USD, depending on location and experience - Flexible workplace model with remote and hybrid options across global office locations
