About this role
Role overview A senior full-stack engineering role on an AI Assistant and Orchestration team inside a risk intelligence and response platform. The work centers on shipping agent-driven product features, the tools that power them, and the approval steps that gate risky behavior, alongside the evaluation harnesses that keep quality high. The team is AI-forward, embedding assistant-driven development tools directly into everyday engineering work.
Responsibilities - Build and ship features for an AI Assistant product, including agents, integrated tools, and human-in-the-loop approval flows. - Write and maintain evaluation cases that catch prompt or model regressions before release. - Develop across a modern web stack spanning Python, Django, Next.js, React, and Node, plus PostgreSQL and Redis on the data side. - Use AI-assisted development tools to support coding, problem solving, documentation, and productivity. - Operate inside an Agile workflow using Git, Jira, Jenkins, and team chat tooling. - Contribute innovative technical ideas and partner with principal engineers and product leaders on architectural direction.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field preferred. - Six or more years of experience building scalable web applications on a Python, Django, React, or Node stack. - Hands-on experience shipping LLM-powered features, including agents, tool or function calling, retrieval, and prompt or model evaluation. - Familiarity with agentic frameworks such as Strands, AutoGen, or LangChain. - Production experience with AWS or another major cloud, plus PostgreSQL, Redis, or comparable storage technologies. - Established practice writing unit and integration tests and remediating live production incidents. - Strong written and oral English, with the ability to work during Mexico-friendly hours and existing right to work in Mexico without sponsorship.
Nice to have - Proficiency using AI coding assistants such as Claude, Cursor, or Codex across the development lifecycle. - Experience collaborating on architectural evolution for a critical customer-facing application.
Benefits and work setup - Competitive base pay on bi-monthly payroll plus an annual company bonus. - One hundred percent employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage. - Parental leave, a Christmas bonus, and a generous vacation and holiday policy with additional vacation bonus. - Monthly work-from-home stipend and all required laptop, monitor, and accessories provided. - Recognition programs, a language immersion program, and structured mentorship plus career development support. - Remote-first delivery with a globally distributed team and an award-recognized culture.
