Role overview
The role leads day-to-day project management for a high-visibility, consumer-facing digital product engagement delivered for a globally recognized brand with a massive consumer footprint. It is a freelance senior project management position focused on digital product delivery across the full lifecycle, with responsibility for aligning cross-functional teams, managing complex dependencies, and ensuring structured, accountable delivery. The engagement is long-standing and meaningful, where delivery quality directly reaches millions of end users.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day project management across a multi-workstream digital product engagement, maintaining clarity on priorities, schedules, deliverables, and accountability - Coordinate between internal strategy, UX, design, and technology teams and external client stakeholders as the central point of contact - Manage project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and risk identification, driving timely resolution of issues before they escalate - Oversee scope and change control in partnership with discipline leads, assessing impact and keeping work aligned to approved plans - Support resourcing decisions across the project lifecycle so the right contributors are engaged at the right time - Facilitate agile, waterfall, or hybrid ceremonies, working sessions, and status communications, and maintain documentation such as status reports, RAID logs, decision logs, and meeting notes
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience in a digital agency or product delivery environment, with emphasis on digital products and services - Demonstrated ability to manage complex engagements with multiple workstreams, overlapping timelines, and varied stakeholder groups - Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong instincts for anticipating issues before they escalate - Clear, confident communicator comfortable working with both technical and non-technical audiences - Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with proactive ownership - Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or comparable platforms

- Experience adapting delivery processes across agile, waterfall, and hybrid models depending on engagement needs - Background contributing to continuously improving delivery practices and ways of working within a broader team
Benefits and work setup
