Lead Technical Business Analyst

Role overview The Lead Technical Business Analyst operates at the intersection of complex cloud-native systems and business value delivery, partnering with Product Managers, Solution Architects, and client-facing teams. The role drives the design and execution of secure, scalable data platforms primarily across AWS, GCP, and Azure, with expansion from UK Public Sector into BFSI and other regulated industries.

Responsibilities - Capture, refine, and validate business and technical requirements alongside Product Managers and Solution Architects. - Translate business goals into clear technical specifications, including user stories, process flows, and data models. - Perform end-to-end technical, business, and data analysis across product offerings and client projects. - Engage with clients to understand integration, configuration, and deployment needs. - Contribute to the design of event-driven, microservices-based solutions on modern cloud and container platforms. - Apply Domain-Driven Design principles to support domain modelling efforts. - Define acceptance criteria, support test planning and UAT, and contribute to release readiness. - Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, and cross-functional alignment sessions.

Requirements - Proven experience as a Technical or Systems Business Analyst within a software or product-led environment. - Strong understanding of cloud-native and distributed systems architectures, with hands-on experience in AWS or Azure. - Familiarity with Java, Kafka, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous systems. - Proficiency in reading technical diagrams, architecture specs, and API contracts. - Deep understanding of Domain-Driven Design and agile methodologies. - Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. - Experience in UK Public Sector or Utilities is mandatory.

Nice to have - Exposure to regulated domains such as BFSI, healthcare, telecom, or public sector. - Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger, RESTful services, and API-first design. - Experience with Scrum or Kanban and tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Git. - Prior involvement with cloud infrastructure or platform teams.
