Role overview A Solutions Architect position focused on adapting and integrating a global Mobile Virtual Network Operator core platform for Latin American markets. The role sits at the intersection of telecom engineering, regulatory compliance, and partner integration, ensuring core network components such as HSS, DRA, and PGW are fully optimized for local market requirements rather than simply connected. It is a remote, full-time, permanent opportunity with English as the primary working language.
Responsibilities - Translate regional regulatory and legal mandates into clear functional requirements for core network engineering teams - Lead requirement discovery workshops with mobile network operators, regulators, and external partners across multiple Latin American countries - Manage a multi-country technical-regulatory checklist, capturing dependencies for development sprints and proactively escalating risks - Coordinate with local central databases and partner systems to confirm interworking specifications meet quality-of-service mandates and integration milestones - Mentor Solution Analysts and cross-functional delivery teams on user stories, functional specifications, and traceability from regulation to implementation - Provide functional leadership during development by clarifying intent, reviewing acceptance criteria, and supporting solution design decisions
Requirements - 7+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Solution Architect, ideally within telecom or technology - Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex regulatory documents into actionable engineering tasks - Comfort discussing technical concepts such as SIP, SMS routing, and MNP databases with engineers - Strong skills in writing user stories and functional specifications and managing Jira tickets for engineering execution - Experience or deep interest in international roaming, interconnectivity, and the nuances of varying global telecom markets - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to act as a liaison between legal, product, and engineering
Nice to have - Prior work experience in MVNO or Mobile Core environments - Familiarity with GSMA standards and eSIM technology - Experience with Lawful Interception and regional compliance reporting
