About this role
Role overview A senior director-level product leadership role owning a flagship card domain end-to-end, from consumer experience to the underlying platform that powers card issuance, authorization, servicing, and partner integrations. The position combines multi-year product strategy, team leadership, and direct accountability for GMV, unit economics, and credit outcomes.
Responsibilities - Define and drive the multi-year vision for the card business across consumer experience, growth, and economics, including complementary new card products. - Lead direct-to-consumer card products and oversee the card platform that powers both domestic and international offerings. - Translate company strategy into a coherent roadmap spanning multiple teams and systems, and own GMV, engagement, unit economics, and credit outcomes. - Manage and develop product managers and PM leaders, establishing standards, operating cadence, and decision frameworks. - Partner with Finance and Credit to optimize profitability and risk, and shape investment strategy and resource allocation across product areas. - Align senior stakeholders across Engineering, Design, Credit, Legal, Partnerships, and GTM, and represent the card domain in executive forums.
Requirements - 15+ years in product management with experience running multi-team product areas or platforms and a track record of owning large domains with meaningful financial impact. - Experience managing managers and building durable PM organizations with the systems, processes, and culture to scale. - Ability to operate at portfolio-level altitude, connecting product decisions to company strategy, with strong judgment across second- and third-order tradeoffs. - Background in payments, cards, fintech, or adjacent infrastructure, with comfort working on consumer-facing products and backend platforms. - Proven ability to drive alignment across senior stakeholders, paired with rigorous data-driven decision-making.
