About this role
Role overview This is a remote, platform ownership position focused on advancing an enterprise ServiceNow environment across ITSM, IT asset management, ITOM, and integration layers. The architect owns solutions end-to-end, from requirements and design through development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement, while periodically traveling (roughly 10–20%) for workshops, go-lives, and team events. The role begins with defined platform initiatives but is intended to expand into broader ownership as adoption matures.

Requirements - 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience. - Strong proficiency with JavaScript, Glide APIs, core scripting components, and Flow Designer automation. - Demonstrated experience with ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Service Catalog) and ITIL practices. - Practical experience with CMDB, Discovery, MID Server, Service Mapping, and CI reconciliation. - Background with HAM and/or SAM and broader IT asset lifecycle management. - Experience building REST/SOAP integrations, operational dashboards, and translating business needs into scalable solutions. - U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD clearance.
Nice to have - Familiarity with Integrated Risk Management (IRM/GRC), ITOM, and Strategic Portfolio Management capabilities.
Benefits and work setup - Remote work with periodic travel to facilities in Tampa, FL and Solana Beach, CA; occasional after-hours work for deployments or critical incidents. - 401(k) retirement plan, Medical/Dental/Vision/Disability/Life insurance with a portion of premiums covered, professional development funds, and an Employee Assistance Plan offering counseling, legal, and family-care support.
