AI & Engineering Intern

Role overview Support the development of AI tools for practical engineering problems, combining technical document interpretation with Python-based data work. You’ll help build and check solutions using large language models and retrieval-augmented generation, working alongside experienced AI engineers. The role is suited to a current student or recent graduate in an engineering-related field.

Responsibilities - Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and engineering documentation. - Help develop AI solutions that use large language models and retrieval-augmented generation. - Use Python to extract, process, and analyze technical information. - Compare AI-generated results with source documentation and help validate their accuracy. - Collaborate with AI engineers to improve AI-powered tools.

Requirements - Studies or a recent qualification in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, automation, or a related technical field. - Ability to understand technical drawings, diagrams, and engineering documents. - Basic Python programming knowledge. - Interest in AI, especially language models, retrieval-augmented generation, and real-world applications. - Analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Good English communication skills and willingness to learn and work with a team.
