Project to Close Configuration Specialist

Role overview Configure and support Oracle project portfolio management and project accounting across the project-to-close lifecycle. The role turns business and financial requirements into system setups for project creation, cost collection, funding, billing, revenue recognition, asset capitalization, and financial closeout, while supporting data quality and compliance.

Responsibilities - Set up project templates and types, burden schedules, cost rules, expenditure types, and work breakdown structures. - Maintain configurations for cost collection, funding allocation, billing events, revenue methods, capitalization, and project status changes. - Validate integrations between projects and time and labor, procurement, payables, receivables, and fixed assets. - Maintain configuration workbooks and setup documentation, and manage configuration migration between environments. - Troubleshoot issues across project accounting modules and support system, user acceptance, and regression testing. - Partner with finance and operations teams to align setups with policies and compliance requirements from project initiation through closeout.

Requirements - Hands-on configuration experience with Oracle Cloud PPM or Oracle E-Business Suite Project Accounting. - Understanding of project cost flows, funding, billing, revenue, and closeout. - Experience validating integrations across time and labor, procurement, payables, receivables, the general ledger, and fixed assets. - Ability to write functional specifications, test scripts, process flows, and configuration documentation. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for cross-module issues. - U.S. citizenship.
