Role overview

A senior individual-contributor role focused on shaping Microsoft Power Platform solutions for U.S. federal agency clients. The position blends hands-on engineering with client-facing solution leadership, centering on model-driven Power Apps, Dataverse architecture, Power BI reporting, and process automation. The work supports modernization initiatives across defense, civilian, and public-safety missions.

Responsibilities

- Lead design and development of Power Apps, with emphasis on model-driven applications and Dataverse-backed solutions - Architect and provision Dataverse environments that meet scalability, security, and integration needs - Build Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models that turn operational data into actionable insight - Design Power Automate flows that streamline workflows and replace manual handoffs - Develop custom C# Dataverse plug-ins and PCF controls using JavaScript or TypeScript to extend form behavior - Maintain CI/CD pipelines through Power Apps Pipelines or Azure DevOps, supporting branching, merging, and release hygiene - Facilitate solutioning sessions with stakeholders, translating business problems into platform designs and mentoring peers on best practices

Requirements

- Demonstrated hands-on experience developing with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI - Proven ability to architect and optimize Dataverse environments for secure, scalable use - Familiarity with PAC CLI and the Power Platform Admin Center for environment and solution management - Working knowledge of Azure DevOps branching, merging, and SDLC tooling as applied to the Power Platform - Active Microsoft certifications: PL-900 (Fundamentals), PL-400 (Developer Associate), and PL-600 (Solution Architect) - U.S. Citizenship, in line with federal eligibility requirements

Benefits and work setup
