Pega Developer

Role overview

This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex applications on the Pega platform while adhering to platform best practices and architectural standards. The developer writes code and performs unit testing based on designs produced by senior developers and product owners, with additional responsibility for production support. The work takes place within DevSecOps and Scaled Agile delivery frameworks hosted in AWS.

Responsibilities

- Build and maintain complex Pega applications following platform best practices - Implement technical rules such as Data Pages, Activities, Data Transforms, Flows, Case Types, and Decision rules - Apply best practices in Pega architecture, design, and coding standards - Develop UX/UI components including Portals, Skins, Flow Actions, and Sections - Provide production support and troubleshoot issues as they arise - Operate within DevSecOps, Scaled Agile Methodology, and AWS cloud environments - Use Pega BIX for data extraction and downstream reporting tasks

Requirements

- At least four years of professional work experience - Experience creating technical Pega rules following a branching strategy - Solid understanding of UX/UI patterns and Pega UI components - Experience handling production support and troubleshooting - Working knowledge of DevSecOps, Scaled Agile Methodology, and AWS cloud environments - Hands-on Pega BIX experience

- Posted pay range in listed locations: $73,600–$114,200 USD
