Serve as a senior enterprise architect supporting a defense technology portfolio, providing cloud and systems architecture expertise while helping shape technically sound competitive proposals. This role combines solution design, technical communication, and business-development support, guiding opportunities from early development through final submission.
Responsibilities
- Develop technical architectures and solution approaches for complex engineering and cloud needs as opportunities emerge. - Partner with subject matter experts to validate the accuracy, clarity, consistency, and quality of technical content. - Translate complex systems and cloud concepts into concise, compelling proposals, white papers, reports, and other technical documents. - Lead solutioning throughout the proposal lifecycle, coordinating cross-functional contributors and gathering information needed for timely submissions. - Create proposal schedules and ensure deliverables align with deadlines, requirements, and internal standards. - Develop and refine reusable technical assets so they can be applied effectively to current and future opportunities.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of engineering or cloud experience working with complex systems. - Business-development experience supporting proposals, responses to RFIs and RFPs, white papers, or similar materials. - Experience supporting military or Department of Defense clients. - Knowledge of cloud Impact Levels IL2 through IL6. - An active Secret security clearance; a Top Secret clearance is preferred. - U.S. work authorization that does not require current or future visa sponsorship.
