Role overview This position focuses on administering and engineering a Microsoft 365 platform within a regulated cloud environment serving federal government clients. The role blends day-to-day ticket and incident handling with solution design for emerging capabilities, requiring close coordination across security, identity, and engineering teams.
Responsibilities - Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and the Office application suite. - Engineer and configure Entra ID, Active Directory, Power Platform, and Microsoft Purview with Data Loss Prevention and sensitivity labels. - Respond to user tickets and incidents while prioritizing deliverables against a structured task and schedule plan. - Design new solutions for Copilot and other capabilities as use cases emerge, and contribute to deployment workflow automation. - Collaborate with security, identity, and engineering stakeholders on cross-disciplinary initiatives. - Apply DevOps pipeline practices to streamline deployments and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements - Hands-on experience supporting Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams. - Experience supporting Power Platform tools, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Purview, especially Data Loss Prevention and sensitivity labels. - Familiarity with Entra ID and Active Directory administration. - Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and the Microsoft Graph API. - Strong Excel skills, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to work independently or as part of a larger team.
Nice to have - Familiarity with JIRA for issue tracking. - Experience with Exchange Server Subscriber Edition. - Exposure to Copilot and Copilot Studio. - Prior work supporting a GCC High environment. - A track record of contributing to process improvements and best practices across technical domains.
