About this role
Role overview A hands-on database administration role supporting a federal government client's Oracle footprint, including EBS R12.2.9 on Oracle 19c plus emerging AI Database 26ai environments. The position spans backup and recovery testing, performance tuning, patching, and migrations on Exadata and OCI platforms.
Responsibilities - Administer Oracle 19c CDB/PDB environments backing EBS R12.2.9. - Manage backup and restore testing using CommVault and Oracle Key Vault. - Run performance tuning, capacity management, and tablespace operations. - Apply quarterly CPU/PSU patches and assess compatibility. - Operate Zero Downtime Migration and AutoUpgrade tooling to move workloads off 19c. - Support Autonomous Database, Exadata Cloud Service, and OCI Base Database deployments.
Requirements - Demonstrated Oracle Database administration experience. - Hands-on experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM). - U.S. Citizenship required for federal eligibility. - Working knowledge of supporting tools such as Oracle TFA, TOAD, and SQL Developer. - Familiarity with Exadata and OCI database services.
Nice to have - Experience with Oracle AI Database 26ai for EBS on Exadata or OCI.
Benefits and work setup - Base pay range of $116,900–$243,200 depending on location, with a broader benefits package. - Hybrid work supporting a federal mission environment with no fixed application deadline.
